Why does WhatsApp Web not work on Chrome?

WhatsApp Web allows users to access WhatsApp on their computers through a web browser. It serves as an extension of the WhatsApp app on your phone, mirroring conversations and messages through a linked QR code scan. This brings the convenience of WhatsApp to your laptop or desktop computer.
